canon t3i bundle best buy Price 2012 – Find Best Deals Here

Canon T3i Bundle I have really enjoyed shooting with this camera. I’m new to this so take my advice with a grain of salt. I don’t like the kit lens that came with it. I bought the 70-300 mm IS USM lens for birding, but I had to go buy the 50 mm f/1.8 for taking pictures of my family. I haven’t had any problems with the camera.

I have found all the menu items easy to understand for a beginner (although I’m a beginner who has taken some time to learn!) I have enjoyed the controls which I find easy to use in aperture priority or shutter speed priority, but shooting in full manual is a little more tricky. Overall highly recommend.

LG D2342P-PN Deal Order Now! While Stock Last

LG D2342P-PN This monitor provides great 2D to 3D conversion of my favorite shows from the internet or DVD formats, like Fringe etc. It resets to 2D whenever you turn it off so it must be reset for 3D every time.

Ghosting/crosstalk is virtually eliminated if you keep the 2D-3D conversion setting below 35%, 25% is optimal, you can drop it to 10% but over 35% requires riding the 3D window controls shot to shot….the slider to the right of 2D-3D conversion slider.

You must be a precise distance away from the screen to prevent ghosting…for instance, you move back 6 inches…ghosting, forward 6 inches…ghosting, move to the middle….it’s just right. I use real3D glasses from the cinema as the glasses provided are horrible and distort due to being made for 10 cents in china.

LG does not have tech support but downloads updates automatically for gamers about once a month.

If possible, check out the $900.00 47″ monitor for a possible computer connection…I believe it has an SVGA input and HDMI, this may be a better solution if your not using the 3D monitor for a computer monitor.

However, the 23″ monitor has a DVI cable compatible with the Nvidea card and gets higher resolution than SVGA.

Resolution is key to good 3D so 13 gig files blow away 2 gig or less files.

The Color settings in the Nvidea control panel are:
Brightness 60% Contrast 72% Gamma 1.47 or start out with Brightness 50% Contrast 50% Gamma 1 and then adjust from there on a movie by movie basis.

These settings allow night scenes to be visible and prevent over contrast on peoples faces…the most natural settings I could get. Adjust slightly per movie as most movies are crap film to DVD transfers or over compressed with digital noise in the mid tone ranges.

As far as I know Dreamworks and Disney are the only true side by side 3D products out there so the 2D to 3D conversion in this monitor is as good as what the other cheap studios put out using depth map conversions to film eg. Clash of the Titans, all the Marvel movies etc.

If two people are viewing they must be sitting exactly side by side so I set up a love seat and stand to place the monitor for movie watching.

Until 3D holographic technology is released by the military black ops elite, this is about the best you can get for the money. The best price I have seen is now 230…I paid 265, most places want 300.

If possible go for the 47 inch TV/monitor at $999.00. LG is going to come out with new screens with wider viewing angles next year if you can wait…for the big TV’s…..with all the wi-fi and hand gesture controls.

I am using a Windows XP service pack 3 with an Nvidea Quadro II 512mb Ram graphics card….everything worked.

I believe this technology will be obsolete in 8 months….late 2012 so if you are going to buy a new computer you may want to look into the next generation….Samsung is touting an upgraded system with 2D to 3D conversion but it may run 6-700.

Lumia 900 4G I’ve purchased the black Lumia 900 and have been using it for weeks.

I am extremely amazed with the rich features and fluid navigation:

Onkyo HT-S8409 Absolutely love this Onkyo HT-S8409 system. Sure there may be bigger and louder ones out there, but really think about how much you need. I was replacing a surround system from 1995 that took up a ton of room. The old system still sounded nice but technology had far surpassed it when it came to TV/movie watching. I spent months researching what I felt I needed from my new home theater system. I did all the research and then started looking for prices. I was going to piece my system together and had picked out a similar receiver from another brand. After starting to add in the cost of speakers, things were getting out of hand and I was on a budget. This package can not be beat for the price vs sound.

After making all the connections, I spent some time reading the instructions on setting it all up. I have seen better directions in my life for sure, but they did get me through it all. The hook ups were easy once I realized I was I hooked two devices into the same input (one HDMI and one component).

I still have to mount my speakers properly before I run the calibrations with the mic, but sound now is amazing. Star Wars is even better now and that’s what I base all my settings off of. The music is crystal clear, voices are defined and crisp, sound effects are bigger then life.

You can not go wrong purchasing this system, even my wife is happy!

Panasonic TC-P50GT50 I bought this TV to replace my previous Panasonic TV which lasted for 7 long years and 4 moves without a scratch or a problem.
The GT50 produces stunning pictures, some of the best I have seen. I looked at a number of different TVs and brands from edge lit LEDs, back lit LEDs to Plasmas. This TV has one of the best picture quality in my price range. It also offers a comprehensive list of practical features ( no gimmicks like gesture response etc).

The on board dual core processor offers smooth performance while browsing, watching online movies etc. No question about this offering the best value for your money in terms of both features and functionality. I also like the look of the TV. I am not a big fan of the edge less design offered by brands such as Samsung or LG. The GT50 has a thin glass like edge which actually makes the picture stand out better against the background.

The only negatives I have is, I wish it came with 3D glasses. The glasses themselves cost 50$ a piece and for a family of 4 I am looking at another 200$.

TC-P60ST50 Plasma Price May 2012

Panasonic TC-P60ST50 Plasma has mostly been left by the wayside in favor of LCD or LED-LCD, but it hasn’t disappeared yet for one simple reason: the technology shows a great picture. As soon as I unpacked my Panasonic ST50, I noticed the deep blacks, great colors, and superb viewing angles.

There are none of the uniformity issues that come with having a light powering the screen. I am so used to watching LCDs that it’s almost a bit off-putting to see a TV that displays a picture like this. The picture obviously looks best in a room with little light – it tends to wash out just a bit when there is significant amount of light in the room. But at night, with just the standard lighting in my room – wow. It’s brilliant. Thankfully, buzzing has not been an issue – I sit only about 6 feet away from the TV, but can’t hear it unless I get up close. It is more noticeable if the screen is very bright – I assume this is because of the electricity being used to charge the phosphors. But even then, it’s not a big deal.

I tested it out with Street Fighter IV, a game I have sunk hundreds of hours into over the years on a LCD, and it was so impressive. Honestly it felt like a brand new game. The input response was so fast and the clarity of motion was superb. Other games I tried (WipeOut HD, Trials Evolution, Killzone 3) fared just as well. This is a great TV for gaming, even taking into account the downside risk of temporary image retention. I have not experienced it yet, even though I feared it would come on from playing WipeOut HD with its prominent HUD.

If I had any one complaint though, it would be the 3D. So far, I have checked out a number of games and some 3D trailers. I noticed a fair amount of crosstalk on much of it. Sometimes that is due to the content, sometimes the TV – but I noticed more if it here than I did on a passive 3D system I checked out. Of course, I also noticed the higher resolution with some items. The glasses are light and chargeable and fit over my prescription glasses, so no complaints there.

The Panasonic ST50 is a great TV, but of course, plasmas aren’t for everyone. My opinion though, is that anyone who thinks they might want a plasma would do well to check it out. I got talked out of a plasma buy and regretted it shortly after. Now I am satisfied.
